I cannot find your original mail in the archive, so I am not sure I know
what you are talking about.
Vis has a discrete time model, and there is no way to change that.
Hence, there is no way to see if a signal can be reset at any time.
However, if you decide on a level of granularity that is acceptable for
your observations, that you can do it. It is hard for me to imagine
instances in which this would not be satisfactory.
Maybe you should send the question again, and state exactly what you
want to do.
