VIS Makefile Errors?

    Hi! I've been trying to install VIS on my solaris 7 machine. I untar the
    glu archive first and run the command:
     
    ./configure -enable-gcc -prefix=/space/glu
     
    It generates the makefile without error. However, when I type make, I
    get the following error:
     
    evia% make
    make: Warning: Can't find `': No such file or directory
    make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 217: Read of include file `'
    failed
    evia%
     
    I upgraded my make program to the latest version and I still get the
    same error. Is there a bug in the distribution or what could it be on my
    end?
