SRILATHA (BOBBIE) MANNE
Graduate Student
Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering
University of Colorado, Boulder
I received my B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of
Arizona, Tucson, and my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University
of Texas, Austin. I'm currently in the Ph.D. program at CU, Boulder.
Between getting degrees at various schools, I also worked for
Hewlett-Packard, IBM, AMD, Synopsys, and Intel in the general areas of
Micro-architecture, VLSI Design and CAD tools.
My advisors are Dirk
Grunwald from the CS Department, and Fabio Somenzi in
the ECE Department. My research background is in Computer Aided Design (CAD)
tools, but my current interests lie in reducing power dissipation in high
performance microprocessors. I'm currently working on reducing the amount of
unnecessary work performed in a multi-issue, speculative, dynamically scheduled
processor.
